Abokobi Chief descends heavily on government
NII Samuel Adjetey Mohenu, the chief of Abokobi, a community in the Greater Accra Region that doubles as the district capital for Ga East municipal assembly have descended heavily on the Government of Ghana for what he termed as failure to educate chiefs and traditional leaders on human right laws.
The popular Presbyterian chief said they as traditional leaders have their hands tied at their back with human right laws that allows the youth of today to misbehave and go Scot free all in the name of human rights.
According to the Chief, most of today’s youth practice all sought of immoralities in their various communities and you can’t even approach them to correct them because the very moment you make the move they will start giving you lectures about their legal human right.
He therefore called on government to get professional legal practitioners to go round and educate the traditional leaders on these human right laws.
