Legendary music producer Nana Poku by birth but popularly known by showbiz followers as Da Hammer has a great piece of advise to all who on daily basis eats outside from food joints, on how to be careful and avoid eating anything not hot steamed.
As the saying goes, “EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER”
The advise came after he eat an already made SALAD on WAAKYE (the food which many Ghanaians have adapted to be their breakfast in recent times.)
Waakye is a local Ghanaian food prepared from, rice, a dried leaves of millet, and red beans or black eyed peas and it’s best served with gravy stew or shito. To spice and make this food more appealing to others, you can decide to add a cooked spaghetti (marcroni), vegetable salad, gari etc.
Below is what he posted with pictures of him on the sickbed.
He writes: and i quote
Recovering from food poisoning… lesson learnt, don’t eat out on a daily basis, no more salad on my Waakye, avoid eating anything that’s not steaming hot.
