Modern Pirates | Menace On Africa Coast
They assail drilling platforms with high-speed boats, seizing foreign nationals for future ransom negotiations. In 2015, a total of 73 such attacks occurred, leading to the abduction of 62 individuals. They represent the contemporary era of piracy, redefining kidnapping as a profitable enterprise, and viewing themselves as modern-day Robin Hood figures. Their primary targets are oil companies, which they accuse of exploiting the nation's natural resources without reciprocation. In this documentary, we followed soldiers, sailors, and pirates over several months, joining them on their raids to unveil their operational methods.

This is part 2 to my previous video Kemetic Roots of West Afrika. https://youtu.be/OL4huhGRCUc

R 3 Million Modern House In South Africa
The concept of home as an ideal for safety and comfort, of acceptance and belonging, is one that resonates with almost everyone. But somewhere along the way, we began chasing a different ideal. “Home” became a place to upscale, store an ever-increasing pile of possessions, and chase a never-realized perfection portrayed in catalogues.
But what is the purpose of home and what makes the concept beautiful in the first place, I asked myself?
Home is a place that offers a place to relax, unwind, and rest. It provides a great opportunity for interaction among family members and brings about a sense of peace.

The role of faith and belief in modern Africa | Ndidi Nwuneli
Ndidi Nwuneli has advice for Africans who believe in God -- and Africans who don't. To the religious, she advises against using God to outsource responsibility for what happens in their lives. To the non-religious, she asks that they keep an open mind and work with faith-based organizations, especially on issues like health care and education. "There's so much potential that can be realized when we walk across the divide of faith and, hand in hand, try to solve many of our problems," Nwuneli says.

Through WhatsApp voice notes, videos, and texts, this documentary reveals their abusive ordeals, and exposes the tactics of agents that traffic and then abandon them. The investigation also examines the poverty and desperation that leads young people to seek opportunities in the Middle East, and the weak justice system that often allows their employers to abuse them with impunity.
Intimate testimonies reveal widespread accounts of sexual and physical abuse, or worse, of African workers - and the film follows the work of an extraordinary network of women working across three continents fighting to bring them home, often against impossible odds.
